What it does
Mullvad supplies VPN apps for desktop and mobile devices, with account numbers in place of a conventional named profile.
Mullvad keeps the purchase decision unusually simple: the homepage presents one monthly VPN rate rather than a ladder of security bundles. It lists Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android support.
The account policy explains the distinctive signup: Mullvad generates a random number instead of asking for a username, password or email. Keep that number available for access. The same policy explains that some payment and support methods involve personal data, so the numbered account should not be read as a promise that every payment is unidentifiable.
