What it does
Multiavatar creates illustrated SVG portraits from text inputs. Its browser generator offers downloadable avatars, and reusable code combines facial, clothing and background components.
Type a name or another stable string to associate a portrait with a profile. The browser also lets you spin a new avatar and save favourites. Generated portraits can become part of a website, game or design project.
In the code library, the text input returns SVG. An optional setting removes the circular background, and a version parameter selects a particular component and theme version. The SVG can then be edited in a vector application. Different inputs do not guarantee that every portrait will look distinct: component designs recur.
Keep the avatar within a larger project
The custom licence allows commercial and non-commercial use with optional attribution. It prohibits repackaging the designs into a competing avatar service or selling them as the product itself, including an NFT avatar collection.
