What it does

MWIS publishes weather forecasts organised around UK mountain areas.

Choose the upland region and check its boundary before reading the daily forecast. The Northwest Highlands page excludes Mull and areas west of Loch Linnhe and separates its update time from forecast dates. Wind effects, hill cloud, temperature at 900 metres and freezing level provide mountain context, with a PDF for the selected region.
