What it does

MyCareersFuture combines Singapore vacancy discovery with skills matching and career-development tools. Browsing is open without login, while job applications require Singpass and are available to Singapore citizens and permanent residents.

The skills-match score is for the candidate’s own assessment and is not shown to employers. A low score does not prevent an application. Use the underlying required skills to identify questions about the role or possible development needs.

MyCareersPlan provides a career focus with next steps and skills or course suggestions; CareersFinder offers profile-based career recommendations. These tools address exploration as well as an immediate vacancy search. The official FAQ states that the service is free for Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Distinguish open browsing from the restricted application route before preparing an account-dependent task. Programme labels and recommendations should be followed to their actual current requirements rather than read as an assurance of eligibility.

New applicants complete Profile and upload a PDF or DOC resume no larger than 2 MB before applying. Applied Jobs lists the latest applications first. The FAQ says Under Review means the employer has downloaded the resume.

Strengths

  • Keeps the candidate’s skills-match score private from employers
  • Separates open browsing from the Singpass-based application route

Watch out for

  • Applying requires Singpass and is limited to Singapore citizens and permanent residents.

Best for

  • Singapore citizens or permanent residents connecting jobs with career planning
