What it does
ColorSpace starts a palette from one colour and has separate tools for two- and three-colour gradients. Enter colour values, choose an orientation and generate CSS for a background. The gradient pages display code directly in the browser.
For palette ideas, enter a starting colour on Palettes and select Generate. The gradient tools have a different purpose: Gradient takes two colours, while 3-Color-Gradient adds a third input.
Choose an orientation before generating the transition. The CSS Code area returns a background-image: linear-gradient(...) declaration, with intermediate colour stops included in the result. Copy that declaration into a stylesheet to use the gradient as a background.
For example, two colours from an existing logo can define a diagonal page background, while the three-colour tool gives you another value to shape the transition. These controls produce colour values and CSS; they do not offer a contrast assessment.
Strengths
- The two- and three-colour tools expose orientation controls.
- Generated CSS includes the intermediate stops for the transition.
Best for
- Web designers creating a CSS background from brand colours
