What it does

MyFatoorah offers embedded checkout, hosted payment pages, invoice links and recurring collection for businesses in eight supported Middle Eastern countries. Its developer tools include payment-status requests and server notifications, while the merchant dashboard handles payments, refunds and settlement settings. Pricing is tailored to the business and transaction volume.

Choose the checkout route before building the integration. MyFatoorah can keep an embedded form on your site, redirect the customer to a hosted page, or send an invoice link by email or SMS. Direct card integration has an additional payment-card security certification requirement, making it a different commitment from a hosted checkout.

For a payment requested outside a cart, the invoicing API creates a payment request and chooses how the customer receives it: email, SMS, both, or a returned link that your own system distributes. After payment, the return address contains a payment identifier that the developer uses to retrieve the status.

A customer returning to the website is only one way to learn the outcome. MyFatoorah also sends a webhook, a server notification that can arrive even if the customer closes the browser. Its guide recommends verifying that notification's signature and combining it with payment-detail checks. Repeated notifications need to be handled without overwriting a successful payment with an earlier status.

Live accounts support Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Oman and Jordan. Register for the relevant country, then ask the account manager to activate both the account and its API role. An existing account can add another supported country through the manager. Business and bank details must be validated before live transactions.

Fees come through a tailored offer or contract. The Saudi-focused FAQ lists daily, weekly and monthly settlement choices in the Dashboard. Full or partial refunds are available there when the account has enough balance. The Android and iOS apps also let a merchant monitor transactions and manage account settings.
