What it does
MyFonts is a font marketplace with family pages, preview comparison and a licensing guide. Its FAQ describes Albums for comparing fonts and explains desktop, web, app and other delivery uses.
MyFonts' family pages let you replace the specimen with your own text, adjust its size and colors, and open the ff menu for OpenType features. Albums add a way to compare several fonts. Choose Add to Album, create a named album, then use Visible to all and Get album link if you want to share it with a client.
The marketplace includes paid families and free fonts. An account is required to order either, and it keeps your downloads and proof of purchase together. For a client purchase, enter the client in the License Information section at checkout. Check quantities too: the cart starts with the smallest allowance for the chosen licence.
Each family's Licensing tab links to its agreement. Webfont terms vary and often renew annually. The standard licences sold online do not permit uploading the fonts to Canva; that use needs a separate discussion with MyFonts. Free download availability also does not replace the selected font's licence terms.
