What it does

Myreader is an AI reading assistant. You upload PDFs, EPUBs, Word documents, PowerPoint files, web articles or YouTube links, then ask questions and get answers with citations that point to the page or section. Documents can be grouped into collections, and any text can be turned into audio for listening. It runs in the browser and as an iPhone app, with free signup by email, Google or Apple.

The site lists a library view where you chat with one book, a group of books or all of them at once. Answers include in-line citations that jump to the matching page. Text to speech converts material into audio in 50+ voices and 30+ languages, and the interface supports 16 document languages. Uploads are handled in the cloud, with a stated limit of 15,000 pages; documents are private to each user and can be deleted. Supported upload formats include .pdf, .epub, .azw, .doc and .ppt, and article or YouTube links can be added to a library. A contact address, [email protected], is given for questions, and there is a route for publishers, schools and businesses that want preloaded custom content.
