What it does
Agent Ransack searches files on a PC or network drives, shows highlighted matching text and supports Boolean and Perl-compatible pattern queries.
Search a PC or network folder in Agent Ransack, then inspect the highlighted contents to decide which file to open. Boolean and regular-expression queries help narrow a collection of related documents. Lite is free for personal and commercial use, while Professional adds paid optional features. The current family requires Windows 10 or later. Agent Ransack and FileLocator Pro share their code and features, and FileLocator Lite is an alternate brand, so compare edition capabilities before treating those names as different search engines. Format, indexing and export availability should be checked for the chosen tier.
