What it does

NearBlocks searches NEAR accounts, transactions, blocks, access keys and receipts on mainnet and testnet. Public lookup needs no account; its API, a data connection for other programs, combines a limited free personal tier with paid commercial plans.

Choose the identifier category in All Filters, then enter an account, transaction hash, access key or receipt. For a transaction, Overview shows the action, status, block, participants, deposit and gas figures. All Transfers and Net Transfers offer different ways to inspect the asset movements.

Execution Plan follows the work through its receipts, the individual operations that can run after the initial transaction. Each receipt has its own status, timestamp, participants, actions, result and logs. Where arguments are available, switch between JSON, readable text, hexadecimal and raw representations. This helps locate a failing application call without assuming that the first transaction line describes every later step.

Developer access

The free API tier is for personal use, requires attribution and allows six calls per minute, up to 333 daily and 10,000 monthly. Commercial use starts with a paid plan. The annual Startup offer is $805.80 per year, equivalent to $67.15 per month, with ceilings of 190 calls per minute, 25,000 daily and 500,000 monthly. Those are separate limits, so staying under the monthly allowance alone is insufficient.

Use User Dashboard to manage a plan, then API keys to create credentials. Current Plan handles upgrades and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically, and NearBlocks states that payments already made are nonrefundable.

Strengths

  • Receipt views expose application arguments and execution logs
  • Search filters include access keys as well as ordinary account identifiers
  • Mainnet and testnet have distinct explorer access

Watch out for

  • The free API allowance permits personal use and requires attribution
  • Paid API subscriptions automatically renew and past payments are nonrefundable

Best for

  • NEAR application users checking the operations behind a transaction
  • Developers tracing receipt-level actions and contract logs
