What it does
neon provides a Swiss account app with Hypothekarbank Lenzburg as its banking partner. QR invoices, eBill and standing orders handle local bills, while an integrated Wise route handles supported international payments. Four plans vary the subscription, card and travel-related costs.
Scan a QR invoice or IBAN into the payment workflow, then use standing orders for repeated instructions. Transfers require the activated phone and personal transfer PIN. Account administration also includes address changes and tax-certificate retrieval.
Sending money abroad
Open Payments > New Payment > International Payment. The arrow beside the recipient’s currency shows the available currencies. The Wise integration displays its service charge before and after the transfer; that charge combines Wise’s fee with neon’s convenience fee.
The integrated transfer service sends a country’s local currency, such as euros to Germany or US dollars to the United States. It does not accept payments to crypto exchanges. neon says global and metal users receive a partial refund of the transfer service fee on the next working day.
