What it does
NetLimiter shows application network activity and can apply speed limits, priorities, quotas and connection rules.
In Activity view, find the application, select its download or upload limit value, then set the rate in the displayed units, enable the rule and save it. NetLimiter also needs its main Limiter On control enabled. Clicking only the checkbox toggles an existing limit rather than opening the editor. This makes it practical to constrain a busy uploader while retaining per-application traffic charts and locally stored history. Filters can change which traffic a rule covers, and quotas or schedules can activate rules later. Review the direction and target carefully before enabling a rule. The Windows product offers a 28-day trial, followed by a license purchase.
