What it does
Network International offers merchant payment services across its regional N-Genius, DPO Pay and Payfast products. These include online checkout, in-person collection and payable invoices, with different onboarding and commercial arrangements by market. Live use requires merchant approval; processing is paid through published regional rates or a tailored quote.
Start with the product serving the business's market. N-Genius is the online-payment route linked from Network's UAE site. DPO Pay by Network serves African markets, while Payfast by Network provides South African aggregation and gateway arrangements. A Payfast aggregation account does not need a separate bank merchant facility; its gateway route connects to an existing one.
For an N-Genius invoice request, open Payments > Payment Link > Create Payment Link > Standard in the Merchant Portal. Select the outlet, transaction type, currency and expiry. Add the item descriptions, quantities and amounts, then the customer's contact details and any order reference. Preview the email if using that channel. Choosing SMS sends the message automatically when the link is created, so check the number first. The resulting link appears in the list, where staff can view associated orders or resend it.
N-Genius onboarding can request a business website, bank details, trade or registration documents and identification for authorized representatives. The account team sets requirements for the region and industry. Its sandbox allows developers to simulate authorization, capture, refunds and payment notifications before live activation.
Regional pricing example
Payfast Aggregation has no setup or monthly fee, but successful collections are charged. Its South African card rate is 3.2% + R2 per transaction, excluding VAT. Ordinary payouts cost R8.70 and refunds R2 each, also excluding VAT. An immediate payout has its own fee. Payfast still requires a South African bank account for payouts. These prices belong to that regional product; obtain the N-Genius, DPO or custom gateway schedule for the service being opened.
