What it does
NGRAVE pairs the ZERO hardware wallet with QR transaction communication, the LIQUID mobile app and an optional GRAPHENE physical backup. ZERO costs EUR 398; the ZERO and GRAPHENE bundle costs EUR 498, with tax included in those displayed prices and shipping or customs assessed separately.
NGRAVE separates signing, physical backup and network access into different components. ZERO retains the wallet secret and signs, while LIQUID reads public wallet information and handles the connected interface. GRAPHENE is a separate two-plate backup product, not another signing device.
Create and synchronize the wallet
Verify ZERO, set its PIN and register a fingerprint. Choose Create wallet and follow the key-generation process. The current setup generates NGRAVE's Perfect Key format. Back it up on paper or GRAPHENE and verify the characters before continuing. A 24-word view is available after setup under Settings, Display secret key.
To connect the companion, open ZERO's Settings, Sync, LIQUID by NGRAVE. Scan the animated QR code from LIQUID, then give the wallet a name. The transfer shares public wallet information rather than the secret needed to sign. Wallet creation and synchronization use local device setup without a hosted account.
The current firmware's Universal QR Protocol supports compatible signing connections. Follow the instructions for the installed firmware and asset; the presence of a QR code does not make every format interchangeable.
App availability and purchase fees
LIQUID is free for Android and iOS, but it is a companion to purchased hardware. Its iOS availability is restricted in a listed set of countries, including mainland China, Egypt and Morocco. Check that app availability matches the intended phone and region before choosing the device.
Buying crypto inside LIQUID adds a 1% NGRAVE purchase fee alongside the selected provider's processing and network costs. That purchase charge is separate from the hardware price and from ordinary blockchain transaction fees.
Strengths
- One LIQUID app can organize multiple wallet connections
- A LIQUID passcode reset can be followed by resynchronizing public wallet data
Watch out for
- The mobile companion depends on purchased ZERO hardware
- LIQUID’s iOS app is unavailable in some countries
- In-app purchases combine NGRAVE and provider charges
Best for
- People comparing QR-based hardware signing and physical backup choices
- Users who want separate devices for key storage and portfolio access
