What it does

NinjaTrader offers futures brokerage and trading software on desktop, web and mobile. Its plans combine platform access with different per-contract commission rates. A plan called Free has no monthly subscription fee, but live trades still incur commissions and other charges.

Read the full cost of a contract

The European pricing page lists these US-dollar rates:

Plan Plan fee Micro / standard commission per side
Free No monthly fee US$0.39 / US$1.29
Monthly US$99 monthly US$0.29 / US$0.99
Lifetime US$1,499 once US$0.09 / US$0.59

Exchange, clearing and NFA fees are additional. Per side means entry and exit are charged separately. View All-In Commission Rates is the relevant comparison for a specific contract.

All plans include simulated trading, and an account is needed to use the platform. Some benefits, including real-time data and Market Replay, activate after funding a live account. Country and region selection matters because account availability and terms differ.

Futures use leverage. A small margin requirement is not the maximum possible loss, and simulation does not reproduce every condition of live execution.

Strengths

  • The commission table separates micro and standard contracts
  • Simulation and desktop, web and mobile access are included across plans

Watch out for

  • The Free plan still carries trading and exchange-related charges
  • Some platform benefits require a funded live account

Best for

  • Futures traders comparing contract costs and platform access
  • People learning platform controls in simulation
