Nomi

What it does

Nomi is an AI companion platform where you create characters that remember your preferences, habits and past conversations. Each Nomi develops its own personality and can chat, roleplay, or join group chats. It suits people seeking an AI friend, romantic partner, mentor or creative collaborator.

Nomi is built for ongoing, personal conversation rather than one-off questions. You create a companion, chat naturally, and the system uses short, medium and long term memory to keep details consistent over time. The homepage says it is free with no credit card required to start chatting, but no pricing page is available, so check current costs and limits before relying on it. The site also says chats are anonymized and no chat data is shared with third party sites, but consider how much personal information you share. It works best for people who want a persistent character, not a quick utility bot.
