What it does
Notedown stores notes on the device, works offline without an account, supports Markdown, and lets users paste images and search by meaning. Free includes unlimited local notes and up to 10 synced notes. Standard is $2.50/month billed annually at $30/year and adds unlimited cloud-synced notes and devices.
Notedown emphasizes quick capture and retrieval: local notes open quickly, semantic search helps locate ideas, and images can be pasted directly into a note. Free is useful for local writing and includes a small sync allowance; Standard expands sync to unlimited notes and devices for $30/year. It is offered as a progressive web app, so users should check whether the browser-based experience meets their offline and device-management needs.
