What it does
nPerf provides browser and application speed tests, with download and upload bitrate, latency information and mobile coverage maps.
nPerf’s browser test reports download and upload bitrate between the device and an nPerf server, plus round-trip latency. Those values sample that route and connection at the time of the run. PC and Mac applications also offer browsing and streaming tests, while mobile applications provide another route for device measurements. The coverage and speed maps answer a different question about an area; they do not establish the current speed of a particular phone. Keep device, connection method and server context with results before comparing them, and check application-specific data and account settings.
