What it does
nPlayer plays media from files, network protocols and supported cloud services, with speed, subtitle and display controls.
A network source can be streamed without first copying the entire video onto the device. The official site lists protocols including SMB, WebDAV and SFTP, useful when planning access to an existing collection. Cloud-provider and casting support should be checked for the installed app version.
Strengths
- Several network protocols support personal-library access.
