What it does
NS International provides European train searches, destination information and booking support. Its travel resources include seat reservations, disruption information, bicycles, pets, children and journeys involving Dutch travel subscriptions.
A bicycle can change how you plan an international train trip. Use the dedicated bicycle information alongside the itinerary search rather than adding the question after buying a ticket. The same travel-information area provides separate paths for pets, children and mobility needs.
For a Dutch-based traveller, the section on NS subscriptions and international travel addresses a different question from ordinary point-to-point fares. A destination map can help identify possible journeys, while disruption and maintenance information should accompany the chosen route. The service also separates cancelling or changing a booking from travel updates and disrupted-journey support. Keep those paths with the reservation so you know where to start if the plan changes.
