What it does

NuORDER by Lightspeed connects brands and retailers through digital wholesale catalogs, order management, and buying tools. It supports order review, customer history, inventory connections, and a wider self-service buying workflow.

NuORDER separates orders placed by brand staff, which start as Pending, from buyer orders awaiting brand review. Use the Orders filters to find the queue you need, then the pencil icon to edit an order. If the cart already contains other work, save that Working Order as a draft before loading the pending order. Add the required products and submit the changes.

For an integrated brand, an order marked Processed should normally be changed in the ERP. Editing and submitting it in NuORDER saves the local change but does not export it again. Cancelled orders are locked. Those boundaries matter when a buyer requests a late adjustment.

Full subscriptions connect inventory through API or file-based integration and support both available-to-sell stock and pre-orders. Buyers can also follow their order, payment, and shipping history.

The free brand route is limited to selected retailers in NuORDER's Retailer Partnership network. Its terms allow up to five users and require an account; onboarding starts from product data, images, and a linesheet. The paid wholesale platform expands buyer access and integrations. Discuss software, services, and implementation together when requesting terms.

Strengths

  • Order status and custom views support wholesale review queues
  • Inventory connections distinguish available-to-sell and pre-book stock

Watch out for

  • Free brand access is restricted to selected retailers and up to five users
  • Submitting a change to a Processed order does not export it back to the ERP

Best for

  • Brands coordinating wholesale orders and stock visibility with retail accounts
