What it does
Nuspell is a spelling checker with a command-line tool, Unicode support and handling for complex compounds and affixes.
Nuspell needs a dictionary in addition to the program. Its current manual uses one selected dictionary, UTF-8 by default and optional locale or dictionary-path controls. Interpret the exit status carefully: zero means checking occurred, even if words were rejected. Human-readable command output is described as unstable for machine parsing; the C++ library API is the intended integration route. The LGPLv3-or-later program does not include every language dictionary, and a dictionary's availability does not prove coverage of a specialist vocabulary.
