What it does
OCBC’s Singapore personal service combines everyday, foreign-currency and children’s accounts. The 360 Account tracks salary and savings conditions for bonus interest, while Money Lock restricts access to selected funds. OCBC Digital also supports currency exchange for travel payments and overseas transfers.
OCBC separates everyday Singapore-dollar banking from foreign-currency and children’s accounts. Its digital exchange route includes AUD, EUR, GBP, JPY and USD, with branch and ATM support alongside the app.
For the 360 Account, log in to OCBC Internet Banking → 360 Account to see salary credited, the change in average daily balance and this month’s average. Those figures matter: the salary condition starts at S$1,800, and the saving condition requires a S$500 increase in monthly average daily balance. Simply depositing S$500 late in the month may not produce that increase.
Opening requires S$1,000. The monthly fall-below fee is S$2, waived in the first year and subsequently when the average daily balance reaches S$3,000. Statements are electronic; an optional cheque book costs S$10. Applicants must be at least 18 and provide identity and address documents. Foreign applicants need a passport and valid pass.
Money set aside from digital spending
Money Lock keeps funds in the account but prevents ordinary payments from using them. Locked money continues to count toward the account balance. Leave enough available for bills, recurring payments and fees.
For Singapore residents, release funds at an OCBC ATM using your card and PIN: select More Services → Release the funds under Money Lock, then choose the account. Customers living overseas can submit a request through Secured Mailbox; OCBC says it will contact them within four working days.
