Check route information while the itinerary is still flexible. ÖBB separates current incidents, station information and planned construction work, giving you different ways to investigate a connection before booking. SCOTTY provides the timetable route, while the ticket shop is the purchasing path.
For an overnight journey, use the Nightjet information and examine the relevant travel category. Car and motorcycle travel has a separate section, useful when the vehicle must be part of the plan. The station and onboard guidance also covers luggage, bicycles and pets. These are parts of one transport service rather than identical rules across every train.
