What it does
The Oklahoma Historical Society's encyclopedia provides alphabetical, topic and historical-era access to entries on people, places, events and objects.
An era index can narrow a question before a specific person or event is identified. The separate people, places, events and objects routes also make the type of evidence easier to choose. Use the alphabetical index for a known term and the subject structure for exploratory research.
