What it does
OKX is a cryptocurrency exchange with spot markets, Convert, trading bots and developer connections. It requires an account and identity verification for exchange activity. Fees depend on the instrument, execution and account tier, while the products offered vary by country.
Find the fee for your own account
OKX charges spot orders according to whether they add an order to the book or immediately match an existing one. These are called maker and taker trades. A limit order can incur either rate depending on how it fills.
On the website, open Assets > My trading fees to see your tier. The order placement panel also has Fees for the selected pair. Rates shown while logged out may differ from the rates assigned to your account.
Verification and availability
The web verification route is the profile icon, Verification, then Individual account. OKX asks for identity information, identification documents and a selfie; the exact requirements depend on the account jurisdiction.
The restricted-location notice includes Canada, India, Japan, Hong Kong and other locations. Some countries have restrictions on particular products: for example, the UK restrictions cover derivatives, centralized earn products and peer-to-peer services. These limits should be checked for the local OKX entity before registration.
Convert, spot orders and futures have different pricing and obligations. A trading bot automates instructions but cannot prevent losses from a falling crypto market.
