What it does
Avro Keyboard combines Bangla phonetic typing, traditional keyboard layouts, mouse-based entry and a Bangla spelling checker.
Avro Keyboard for Windows combines phonetic, fixed-layout and mouse entry. Phonetic typing turns an English-letter spelling into Bangla; the fixed layouts include Probhat, Munir Optima and Avro Easy. Choose Unicode or ANSI to match the destination rather than treating those modes as interchangeable. The official 5.1 history documents a Unicode-to-Bijoy 2000 converter for plain text, a narrower job than converting a formatted document. The site links iAvro for macOS and ibus-avro for Linux as separately named ports, so Windows bundle features should not be assumed to carry across all three.
