What it does
Omise provides payment links, checkout integrations and a dashboard for transactions, reports and refunds. Its merchant onboarding covers Thailand, Singapore, Japan and Malaysia, with different documents and payment methods by market. A free test account lets developers prepare the connection; real payments incur processing fees after merchant approval.
For Payment Links+, open App Center, select the product and subscribe, then supply the store profile, logo and refund policy for approval. After setup, Create > Create quick link takes an amount, currency and optional name. It produces a link and QR code for a single payment. The Pending and Success tabs show whether the customer has paid, and a pending link can be disabled.
Thailand processing examples
Omise charges for successful payments. Its Thai schedule lists:
| Method | Processing fee |
|---|---|
| Credit or debit cards | 3.65% |
| PromptPay | 1.65% |
| Listed direct-debit banks | THB10 |
| Listed mobile-banking apps | THB10 |
The displayed charges are subject to 7% VAT. Moving funds to a connected bank account adds THB20 for a transfer up to THB2 million, or THB150 above that amount. Other markets and specialized methods have their own schedules.
Register and verify the account email before applying for live access. In the dashboard, switch to live mode and complete merchant, business and bank details with the required documents. For example, the Thai business route requires company documents and a bank account matching the company; individual applicants have a separate identity route. Singapore, Japan and Malaysia use their own checklists.
