What it does
Omnibus-Type is an independent type foundry offering open fonts and custom design. Its library includes variable families, category filters, a type tester and glyph information.
Omnibus-Type is the originating foundry for open families including Archivo, Saira, Chivo and Labrada. The library shows the number of styles and variable axes for each release, and its filters separate sans, serif, display and variable fonts. You can change the catalog sample and size before opening a family for closer inspection.
The Type Tester has style, size and spacing controls. The Glyphs view adds character and Unicode information, useful when checking a particular accent or symbol rather than judging the font from a headline. The library is free and open source under the SIL Open Font License. Custom design is a separate service, including adaptations of the foundry's existing families.
