What it does
OneKey offers free core wallet software on desktop, mobile, browser and web, alongside paid hardware signers. Recovery choices include ordinary seed phrases and a Google or Apple linked Keyless Wallet.
OneKey's most useful starting decision is how the wallet will be recovered. A regular software wallet relies on your recovery words. A hardware wallet keeps signing keys on a separate device. The optional Keyless Wallet instead uses Google or Apple access together with a recovery PIN. These arrangements have different dependencies, even though they appear within the same app.
For the regular software route, open the wallet avatar at the upper left, select the plus sign and choose Create Wallet. Show Recovery Phrase reveals the words to preserve. A watch-only account is another option when you want to follow an address without giving this app the ability to spend from it. Hardware connections use the detected device and an on-device PIN confirmation.
Keyless setup starts with Continue with Google or the three-dot menu's Keyless Wallet option. It asks for a four-digit recovery PIN as well as a local app passcode. Those are different credentials: the app passcode alone cannot restore the wallet on a new device. After recovery, additional accounts may need to be re-added through the account selector and Add Account.
The core app is free. Prime is a paid membership adding bulk payments, approval revocation, activity notifications and transaction-history exports. Open Prime from the desktop's lower-left menu or the mobile OneKey ID page after signing in. Its CSV export can help with records, but it does not add fiat valuations or tax classifications. Risk checks are informational and can miss problems.
Hardware is sold separately. The Pro 2 is USD299 and supports a QR signing mode in which the app and device exchange transaction codes. Other models have different connection and backup arrangements, so compare the particular model before ordering.
OneKey's terms require adulthood and legal capacity. Its restricted-location list includes the US, UK, Germany and other countries, while expressly stating that a listed location may affect only some products or features. Check the current annex and availability of the service you intend to use. Buying, swapping and other integrated services can add provider charges and network fees; their inclusion does not guarantee eligibility or protect funds from losses.
