What it does
Ongage combines campaign design, audience segments and reports with connections to email relays and SMS providers. Teams can use Ongage SMTP or supported outside sending services. The 14-day trial requires a payment card, with billing beginning after onboarding and the end of the trial.
Treat the sending connection as part of the campaign setup. Ongage supports its own SMTP relay, named email delivery partners and an on-premise MTA connection. This gives an established email operation a way to manage campaigns while retaining a chosen delivery provider. Check how many relays, staff logins and separate lists the subscription supports.
The current Automations guide is labelled Beta and introduces a visual workflow builder. Its basic welcome example sends two emails to newly added contacts with a one-day wait between them; SMS can be used instead or alongside email. That is a useful first sequence for checking the intended timing and content before expanding the workflow.
The plans differ in both sending allowance and the number of connections and users:
| Plan | Monthly email/SMS capacity | Relay or SMS vendors | Users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 1 million | 1 | 2 |
| Basic | Up to 5 million | 3 | 4 |
| Premium | Up to 7 million | 5 | 8 |
| Ultimate | Custom | 5 | 12 |
All plans include onboarding and live training. Email validation and delivery consulting are separately scoped. The trial requires card details; charges start once onboarding is complete and the 14-day trial has ended.
