Online-Convert

Choose the destination first when the requirement is practical, such as preparing a clip for a phone or a particular sharing service. A format-based route is better when a recipient has specified the exact file type. The site also includes OCR conversions for scans and images. Treat those presets as a starting configuration and review the resulting media or document before distribution.

Online-Convert uses credits rather than a single flat entitlement. Its free trial is presented as a way to evaluate most features, and paid access can be a subscription or a one-time credit package. Subscription credits do not roll over; purchased packages expire after one year. The task page shows a credit estimate before conversion. Claims of unlimited paid file size and batches carry an asterisk, so they should not be treated as an unconditional allowance.

The MP4 route exposes concrete video and audio controls: size in pixels, bitrate in kbps, file-size target in MB, frame rate in fps, codecs, cutting and cropping. Upload a video or supply its URL, adjust only the settings needed, then start conversion. These controls describe that route; document and ebook converters have different options.
