What it does
Open Data Structures explains structures such as lists, dictionaries, trees, heaps and graphs with Java and C++ implementations.
Study one representation and its analysis together. Comparing a structure's interface with its implementation helps explain why different choices have different costs. Run a small implementation before moving to a more sophisticated tree or graph representation. The book and accompanying Java/C++ source are free. The site identifies a Creative Commons Attribution licence for both; check the linked terms when reusing an implementation or explanation.
