What it does
OpenShot is a free video editor with multitrack timelines, colour scopes, masks and keyframe animation.
A basic edit can grow into a layered composition because clips, images and audio can occupy separate tracks. OpenShot's current feature page describes keyframing effect settings and using colour wheels, curves and scopes. Read the user guide for the relevant effect rather than assuming the automatic masks need no adjustment.
Strengths
- Keyframes can animate clip and effect properties.
- Colour scopes accompany the grading controls.
