What it does
optiCutter provides sheet, roll and length cutting calculations with plan views and PDF reporting.
optiCutter uses rectangular stock and part dimensions, quantities, kerf and grain settings for sheet, roll or linear layouts. Decimal/fractional inches and feet-inch formats are selectable alongside generic metric input. Its import manual documents CSV/XLS/XLSX files with a first-column key marking stock, parts, kerf, trim or plan settings; one file can contain both stock and parts. The optimizer uses heuristics/evolutionary methods for near-optimal layouts. Plans can be printed or retained as PDF, and the saved-plan list offers deletion. The free tier permits five stock types, 20 distinct part/panel sizes and 500 total parts/panels per cutting mode. Cloud processing is stated by the provider; Enterprise separately advertises 5,000 included API requests with overage charges.
