What it does
Orca provides Solana token swaps through its own pools or supported aggregators, with quote details and configurable routing. Traders connect a Solana wallet and can enter either the amount to spend or the amount they want to receive. Pool trading charges and network costs apply.
Orca's top token selector identifies what you spend; the bottom selector identifies what you receive. Search by mint address when a ticker could refer to several tokens. After connecting a supported Solana wallet, enter either the spending amount or the amount you want to receive.
Expand the quote to inspect the rate, price impact and Minimum received. The route control at the top right offers Orca pools or aggregators such as Titan, Jupiter and DFlow. If Orca's own route produces more output, the displayed quote may switch to it; check the selected source before signing. The gear icon sets slippage, and Trade or Swap opens wallet approval. Keep SOL for network and account costs.
Fixed pool fee tiers span 0.01% to 2%. Adaptive pools use a base tier but may charge more as conditions change. A route using multiple pools can incur a fee at each step, so compare the complete quote.
Orca and Loopscale are combining under Formation while continuing as product brands. Orca's official FAQ says existing Whirlpool positions, fees and rewards continue without a required migration or signature.
