What it does
OroCommerce combines B2B catalogs, customer-specific pricing, buyer accounts and transaction workflows. Its current platform includes customer portals, quoting and connected commerce operations, with integrated CRM capabilities.
OroCommerce separates repeat-buying lists from negotiated offers. Shopping lists hold quantities and notes but use current prices. An RFQ records requested quantities and target prices; the seller's quote sets the actual offer.
To answer an RFQ, go to Sales > Requests for Quote, open it and choose Create Quote. Review the customer details, set Valid Until and assign the responsible staff member. Enter the offered quantities and prices; Add Offer adds alternatives. Complete shipping details and any payment term, then Save and Close. Send the saved quote from its view page so the customer can continue the negotiation or order. A distributor can use this for a project purchase while keeping routine supplies on a shopping list.
The free Community edition is available as downloadable software. Running it requires your own deployment. Enterprise is quoted using GMV bands, administrator seats and infrastructure; the starting allowance includes 25 administrators. Customer accounts and additional storefronts do not set the licence charge. Optional OroPay processing and Google Vertex AI recommendation usage have separate charges.
Back-office users sign in with credentials assigned by an administrator. Google or LDAP login can also be configured.
