What it does
Oura is an Apple-silicon Mac browser beta with an AI panel, model/voice choices and controls for site access to camera, microphone, location and notifications.
Oura opens its page-aware AI panel with Command-J. It offers Gemini model and voice choices, and Live Mode can read the current page and listen through the microphone. Website camera, microphone, location and notification access can be changed per site from the address bar or settings.
The advertised release is beta 0.2.3 for Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later, offered without a subscription. Oura's application source uses the MIT License. Its local browser-data storage and no-telemetry statement do not describe the selected AI provider's handling of page or voice requests.
