What it does

Outtloud is a text to speech reader that turns PDFs, EPUB files, web links, Word files, plain text, and scanned pages into audio. It offers over 500 voices, voice cloning, adjustable playback speed up to 4x, and AI features such as summaries, podcasts, quizzes, and chat over uploaded material. It runs on the web, iOS, Android, and Chrome and Edge extensions.

The site lists a library of 10,000+ audiobooks alongside the option to upload your own files. OCR is included for scanned documents, and users can set daily, weekly, or monthly reading and listening goals with progress stats. A free trial is offered, and the site lists email contact at [email protected].
