What it does
overGrive synchronizes a Linux folder with Google Drive, supports selected cloud folders and can export Google documents for offline editing.
Choose a writable local folder and the top-level Google Drive folders to synchronize. External drives and network shares work only when mounted as overGrive starts, and only one account can be active at a time. Google-native documents can convert to Microsoft Office or OpenDocument formats for offline editing. Conversion back into revisions applies to original Google Docs; unrelated Office files remain normal uploaded files. Removal behavior and backup-only operation are selectable. The license is a non-expiring one-time purchase per Google Drive account, with a 14-day trial.
