What it does
OVPN provides shared-IP VPN access and offers separate add-ons for a static public IPv4 address and multihop routing.
OVPN separates a standard shared address from its Public IPv4 add-on. That distinction matters if your task requires a stable reachable address rather than the shared exit normally associated with a consumer VPN. Its other add-on routes traffic through two VPN servers.
The company says it owns the hardware and runs servers without hard drives. It also explains that its infrastructure requirements result in a more selective location list. Start by checking your required destination against that list, then decide whether shared access, a public IPv4 address or multihop is the relevant configuration.
OVPN's notice says it does not record identifiers together with VPN browsing activity. It makes a protocol-specific qualification: a WireGuard connecting IP is held in temporary memory until the session ends. Account details, payment records and website use have separate handling. That distinction is useful alongside a decision about its static Public IPv4 add-on; an assigned exit address is different from the IP used to connect to the VPN.
Strengths
- Clearly distinguishes shared IP access from a static public IPv4 add-on
- Optional multihop routing
