What it does
Open Yale Courses provides open introductory Yale teaching in video, audio and transcript formats without registration.
If you want to listen to a university lecture and then check a difficult passage in writing, Open Yale Courses supplies both. Browse a subject such as philosophy, architecture or financial markets and follow the recorded classroom teaching at your own pace. The project explicitly does not award credit, degrees or certificates, which makes its role clear: access to teaching rather than enrollment.
Strengths
- Video, audio and text transcripts
- No registration required
Watch out for
- Does not award course credit or certificates
