What it does
OzBargain publishes community-submitted shopping deals for Australia. Posts include votes, discussion, store links and labels such as affiliate, associated or targeted.
OzBargain's labels are worth reading before the price. A targeted offer may not be available to every shopper, while affiliate and associated labels explain a poster's relationship with a deal. Posts also show category, time and discussion activity, which helps place a lead in context. Begin with a category or planned item, then use the community comments to investigate the exact offer. The Australian shopping context is central, including local stores, currencies and catalogue periods; an overseas reader should not assume the same promotion applies.
