What it does
Packet Loss Test uses WebRTC to measure packet loss, latency and jitter with configurable packet size, frequency, duration and delay thresholds.
Choose a server and set packet size, frequency, duration and acceptable delay, or start from an application-style preset. Packet Loss Test uses WebRTC to report upload/download loss, late packets, average latency and jitter. Late means later than the chosen threshold, which is a different result from a packet never arriving. CSV, CSV with summary and JSON downloads let you retain the settings and samples. The free browser tool needs a working WebRTC connection to its endpoint. A game or voice preset approximates a traffic pattern; it does not measure packets inside that application or every route across the Internet.
