Choose a box style, dimensions, material and quantity. Under Printed Sides, select Inside or Both Sides before opening Design Now. Both Sides adds a toggle above the canvas for switching between the two surfaces. Upload your artwork and inspect the folded preview.

For artwork prepared in another application, configure the packaging and choose Upload Now, then Download Dieline Template. Place the design on that PDF and upload the completed file. Save & Continue takes an online design to checkout; saved designs can be revisited through an account.

Prepare colours in CMYK, the colour mode used for printing. RGB artwork is converted, which can change its appearance, and vector artwork helps keep logos sharp. Packlane's prepress check covers issues such as low resolution and small text; it does not check spelling, specifications or the content of scannable codes.

After checkout, Packlane emails a separate 2D proof. There are three business days to approve it or request changes. If there is no response, Packlane approves it on the fourth business day and starts production. That deadline matters even if the online preview already looked correct.

Packlane adds a separate licence fee at checkout for Adobe Stock images used through its service.
