What it does

Pandle combines invoices, banking, receipt attachments and financial reports. It also offers project tracking, inventory items and controlled access for multiple users.

Pandle has a lasting free bookkeeping plan and a Pro subscription at GBP 5 per month plus VAT. Pro adds tools such as receipt uploads, projects, inventory items and mileage. Those extras matter if the supporting paperwork and the job's profitability need to stay with the bookkeeping records.

In a project, tag the relevant income and expenses so its reports compare what the job earned with what it cost. Colour-coded reports show profitability and project cash flow. A receipt attached to its transaction gives the bookkeeper the original document when an expense needs checking.

New accounts receive 14 days of Pro without entering payment details. At the end, choose Pro or continue with free Pandle. The subscription option in Settings lets an existing user upgrade. Pro is billed monthly without an annual contract; cancelling returns the account to the free plan while retaining its bookkeeping data.

Strengths

  • Receipt attachments stay with transactions
  • Project reporting and user permissions
  • Cancelling Pro retains bookkeeping data in the free account

Watch out for

  • Receipt uploads and project tracking require Pro

Best for

  • Small businesses sharing bookkeeping and project-cost records
