What it does
Panels reads DRM-free comic files on Apple devices with library organization, synchronized progress and several page-navigation modes.
Panel-by-panel navigation can make a dense comic easier to follow on a phone, while full spreads may suit a tablet. Start with the free reader before deciding whether cloud libraries or page filters justify Premium. The purchase that keeps current features differs from a subscription covering later updates.
Panels also offers OPDS access to a comic server you already run. Its new in-app comic store sells DRM-free titles separately from the reader’s Premium features, so choosing Premium does not itself supply those books.
