What it does

Transmit is Panic's macOS client for uploading, downloading and synchronizing files on servers and supported storage services.

The dual-pane view is useful for comparing a working folder with its destination before sending changes. Transmit also supports local-to-local and remote-to-remote synchronization, plus file rules and batch renaming. Save a frequently used folder in the Places bar rather than navigating through the same directory tree each time. Panic offers a time-limited trial and an unlock purchase; the current application requires macOS 13 or later.

Strengths

  • Local and remote synchronization options
  • Batch rename and reusable folder locations

Watch out for

  • Requires macOS 13 or later

Best for
