What it does

Paperclip is an app for managing AI agents as a team. It gives you an org chart, goals, tasks, budgets, and agent templates in one place. Agents work through tickets with owners, statuses, and threads, and plans break into task trees.

Paperclip is a management layer for AI agents rather than a single assistant. You define a company goal, hire agents into an org chart, and approve the plan. Work runs through tickets that have one accountable owner, a status, and a thread. Plans fan out into child issues with blocked-by links, and finished work goes through QA before it closes. Budgets are set per agent per month, and agents stop when they hit the limit. The site says Paperclip is MIT-licensed and open source, and that it works with any agent or runtime that can receive a heartbeat. The hosted version is waitlisted, so the local install is the way to try it now. Pricing is not shown on the pages reviewed.
