What it does
PaperScan acquires documents through TWAIN or WIA and imports PDF or image files for organization and enhancement. It exports PDF, TIFF, JPEG, and other formats.
Import scans or PDF/image files, arrange the pages, clean up their appearance and save the result. Free supports ten-page scan/import batches and single-page output. Pro adds searchable PDF, multipage output, automatic blank removal, separator sheets and batch cleanup. The paid editions have a 30-day evaluation period; their licences are perpetual, with activation required. For version 4 and later, included minor updates run for twelve months, while major upgrades are paid. Check the edition for the output needed rather than treating a free download as every feature unlocked.
